This is a Test

The name of this blog is from a mis-heard lyric in a song by The Cars. The title of the song is, "Since You're Gone". The correct lyric in question goes like this:

         "Since you're gone, I stumble in the shade"

I always hear that line as:

         "Since You're gone, I stumble into strange."

         Stumble Into Strange. It's a phrase that can apply in a range of contexts. Sometimes, depending on where you're employed, work is strange. Sometimes, depending on who you're with and who you are at the time you're with them, love is strange.  And, to quote The Doors, these are "strange days".

         I stumble into strange in my art, never knowing what the end result of a drawing or poem or story will entail. I have learned to go ahead anyway for no matter how it turns out it is never a wasted effort. I stumble, I learn, I move on to stumble again.

This is my first attempt at a blog site. This is a test. I will post more soon.
